Ticket information:

• There is a two-ticket allotment per child (if there is still availability a flier will go out June 1st for additional tickets).
• Cost is $5.00 per ticket
• Students will be given the order form on May 24, thursday.
• Teachers will collect ticket orders May 29th – June 1st.
• Tickets must be presented at time of performance
• All adults and all children must have a ticket
• No tickets available at the door
• Only adults allowed in the balcony
• Parents attending multiple shows will have to purchase tickets for each show.

Please have your child bring in an envelope (with your form and money) to give to his/her teacher on May 29th – June 1st. . Tickets will be sent home with your child. Thanks!

“At 2:55 pm today, a student reported a red van stopping on Paulina Street adjacent to the west parking lot. The driver asked the boy to “come into the van”. The driver was described as a man wearing a ski mask. The boy ran away and told his mother. We contacted the Chicago Police Department and they have investigated and filed a report. Please talk to your children about ‘stranger danger’ and how to respond in these situations.”

As the school year winds down, the children who have participated in violin and guitar classes have polished their skills and are proud to play for their families in the Instrumental Music Concert! Many thanks to Mr. McGeehan for guiding our young musicians in their after-school music studies.

Instrumental Music Pizza Party!

In full celebration for the achievements of our wonderful musicians, there will be a Music Pizza Party. Come join in the fun, and please bring something to drink (water of juice).

Congratulations to Room 111!  With 2,637 points, they are the classroom winner for the month of April in the PTA Labels Race.  They earned the traveling trophy and bragging rights for a month.

Remember…

• the 35 students who bring in the most labels during the Spring Race will win a Blaine backpack,
• the student who brings in the most labels will win a trip for 4 to the movies, and
• the classroom that brings in the most points for the entire year will win a pizza party!
