Please join Blaine staff, parents and students for a tour of our school!
Learn about the enrollment process and Blaine’s curriculum; visit our classrooms, library, state-of-the-art and technology center; and attend an interactive forum with our Principal, Assistant Principal, teacher, and student.
School tours normally take about 1 hour – 1-1/2 hours. To enter the building, please ring the doorbell at the main entrance (off of Grace, to the right of Door 1), continue up the stairs to the security desk where you can sign-in. All tours are conducted by members of our PTA and begin at 8:15 AM in Blaine’s Auditorium. There is no need to RSVP… just show up!
Please remember that Blaine is a neighborhood school. As such, only Chicago residents living within the school boundary area are eligible for enrollment for Kindergarten through 8th Grade. If you need assistance identifying your neighborhood school, please visit www.cps.edu
and click on Schools and put your address in the School Locator application. This will identify your neighborhood school.
Preschoolers apply in the Spring to the Office of Early Childhood’s Chicago Ready to Learn Program. Preschoolers are selected based on student needs; neighborhood preschoolers are not given priority based soley on their address.
